Happy Monday everyone!  Can you believe it's Thanksgiving week already??! It's crazy how time flies.  Before diving into today's design, I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all the love and messages on my last post about the past year of trials and perseverance.  It was tough to hit publish, but the messages I'm receiving from women that were encouraged to get help makes it completely worth it!

Dining Room Inspiration Design

With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, it's one of my favorite times of the year to create dining room, living room, and guest room designs. Today's dining room design has a bit of a rustic chic flair to it, which is inviting and warm, with a relaxed feel to it.  It's probably my favorite kind of design......elevated casual??

Coastal Entryway Focal Wall Design

Hey friends!  It's been a busy weekend of painting, painting, and more painting here at our little beach house. My husband took our 3 kiddos away for a big camping trip while I stayed home, shoved all the furniture to the center of the rooms and tackled the walls, doors, and trim of our second story - it's not done yet, but it IS looking good! :-) I'm so excited to see the progress!!!

Ok, so I seriously have an absolute obsession with Carol Benson Cobb's artwork. And that is not a word I use often! Her artwork is just SO stunning and inspiring - totally my thing.  One of her pieces is a clear focal point in this design below. Any coastal, beach loving person typically has a love of all things navy blue. Navy exudes the color of the ocean, and today as I share some beautiful navy rugs with you, I want you to imagine a navy blue rug as a grounding piece to a room.

It's easy to fall into using natural area rugs in a coastal design (and always a beautiful, classic option), but if you're looking for something a little different, but still classic, here are some options to inspire you with a full design idea at the end.
